Build wise it’s true to the Chuck 70 but dialled up a notch in terms of detailing. Starting off with a cream canvas base. Embellished with a Swarovski crystal Hello Kitty graphic across the side which sparkles when walking. These are details you start to appreciate more as time goes on.
Pink hits show up in small ways throughout, on the midsole piping, inside lining, and the translucent outsole underfoot. There’s a tiny bow worked into the toe, and the heel swaps the usual branding for a bold Hello Kitty hit. Hanging off the shoe is a detachable charm that pairs a Converse All Star tag with a crystal Hello Kitty piece.
The Hello Kitty x Converse Chuck Taylor 70 “Swarovski” lands through Journeys and SNKRS as part of a wider drop, which also brings in several styles for adults and kids. Some lean more graphic, others keep things playful, but everything releases together on March 5th.
