The McDonald’s All-American Game is an institution in underclassman hoops like no other, often offering the chance to see the sport’s biggest stars right on the cusp of becoming household names. While some trotted into the showcase with plenty of hype around them, like LeBron James or Zion Williamson, plenty more paved their way to greatness with showout performances in the hoops classic.
In contrast to other similar showcases like the Jordan Brand Classic that keep their brand affiliations clear, the All-American Game has been largely absent from the world of footwear, save for independent plays by companies of their own accord. That finally reverses course in perhaps the most unexpected way possible. Crocs is getting in on the action with their Classic Clog, but not with products that those hopeful varsity athletes can sport on the court. Instead, the Colorado company teased a range of mini Clog charms, swapping between throwback Americana/hoops aesthetics and more unabashed embraces of The Golden Arches, with several of these colorways utilizing their branding on curved “collars” or extending into the “sports strap.”
Few details have emerged as to how to get your hands on the McDonald’s x Crocs toys, but a March 10th date has been attached. You’ll likely want to grab a Happy Meal on or after that date to grab these miniaturized models.
