Creative partnerships continue to push ASICS deeper into the lifestyle space, and the latest project brings Dutch design studio Hagel into the mix. Built around the message “Some Shapes Just Grow on You,” the Studio Hagel x ASICS Neotide introduces the silhouette through two colorways that highlight the model’s sculpted, wave-like tooling.
The first colorway opts for earthy, outdoor-inspired hues. Made with breathable beige mesh, the upper is accented by panels of charcoal mesh as well as brown suede overlays covering the toe, eyestay, and heel. Dark ASICS branding fits right into this color scheme, with accents of pink on the heel tab just to spice things up. Underfoot is a cream grey midsole featuring a rounded design, contrasted by light purple rubber footing pods.
The other colorway goes in the complete opposite direction with brighter hues. Pink mesh makes up the majority of the upper, accented by brown suede overlays and charcoal suede at the toe panel and side panel. Completing the look are brown rope laces threaded through the eyestay. Both sneakers share an identical sculpted grey midsole, further embodying the Neotide’s chunky stream-of-conscious design.
Breathable mesh, layered suede panels, and heel GEL cushioning keep the build rooted in ASICS performance DNA. Hagel’s approach adds a playful shift in color balance and proportion, suggesting the Neotide could become a strong canvas for future collaborations.
The Studio Hagel x ASICS Neotide releases March 6, 2026 via ASICS and select retailers. This release will be available exclusively through Europe channels.
