The New Balance 2010 has made a fine impression on New Balance heads thus far, offering great comfort, impressive materials, and tons of strong colorways at a pretty reasonable $160 price point. It’s quite clear that the model is set to be a priority through all of 2026, a notion supported by upcoming collabs with atmos, Comme des Garçons, and likely plenty more to come.
Shown below is an upcoming colorway featuring grey leather overlays and deep purple hits on the ABZORB SBS cushioning, perhaps conjuring memories of Jeff Staple’s Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Pigeon” for some. A paler violet color lands on the mesh base, accompanied by grey synthetic underlays and your usual silver hits on the tongue and backtab.
The New Balance 2010 “Grey/Purple” aka “Purple Pigeon” is due out Summer 2026, meaning sometime between April and June. See official images below while we keep our ears up for a firm release date.
