The lingering popularity of Kanye West’s Yeezy Foam Runner has made the slip-on genre a must-compete category for footwear brands. Ironically, it’s Ye’s former running mate that might have the best option on the market right now. The 3D-printed adidas Climacool is awakening from its winter hibernation with a number of new styles for 2026, including the “Blanch Cargo” edition pictured below.
Made to maximize flexibility and airflow, the Climacool features a one-piece lattice structure produced through a design process called Digital Light Synthesis. Consumers have noted refreshing gusts of air coming up through the footbed with each step, a quality that’s especially appreciated during the warmer months. This “Blanch Cargo” colorway sticks to the model’s neutral playbook, arriving almost entirely in the titular hue with the exception of black stripes. adidas is also dropping a Climacool Laced featuring this same exact colorway, if you’d prefer more familiar tooling.
