Action Bronson has been sitting courtside at NBA games in a new Knicks-themed New Balance collaboration. The only question: what model are we looking at here?
Shots from Crypto.com Arena show a navy blue New Balance sneaker featuring “2811” text on the tongue, hinting that this is indeed a new, unannounced model. The first silhouette that comes to mind is the New Balance 2010, as Bronson’s pair appears to feature the same midsole when you photo-match the ABZORB SBS pods in the heel. The upper, however, looks quite different from the 2010 as we’ve come to know it. Small orange New Balance logos reminiscent of the 1000 silhouette land at the quarter, accompanied by thin TPU paneling throughout.
Nothing else is known about the Action Bronson shoe as of this writing, but we’ll likely see Mr. Baklava share in-hand shots on Instagram sometime soon. For now, scroll through the courtside pics below.
