40 iterations later, the Air Jordan lineage is as unrivaled as any other signature shoe series. Jordan Brand decided to commemorate its four decades of shoes by paying homage to various silhouettes with the new Air Jordan 40. From a “Chicago”-colored Air Jordan 1 hybrid pair to an eye-catching Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” tribute, this rollout has been unlike any other.
Adding to the limited edition lineup, a new “4028” colorway that combines the Air Jordan 40 with the Air Jordan 28 has been spotted. The “23”-branded zipper shroud is present for this unique edition of the performance shoe. “Barely Volt” green graces the aforementioned detail while “Metallic Silver” Jumpman branding can be spotted at the exterior of the shroud. Otherwise, the shoe sticks to black throughout its build, save for the icy translucent outsole.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet indicated when this “4028” colorway of the Air Jordan 40 will be dropping.
