Nike will outfit two of the three nations hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup – the United States and Canada – while Mexico remains firmly aligned with adidas. But licensing restrictions have never stopped the Swoosh from tapping into global moments, even if it means getting a little creative to do so.
Arriving alongside an upcoming Air Max 95 “Mexico” is this newly unveiled Air Force 1 Low. Official images reveal a Phantom satin upper featuring stitched flame graphics akin to lucha masks, joined by an Alabaster midsole, Team Red outsole, and Fir Green hits on the Swoosh and backtab. Pink graphics on the heel point to a specific theme, calling to mind football’s “third half” tradition of socializing after a pick-up match. Insoles reading “Amor Que No Se Apaga,” or “Love That Never Fades,” add to the message. There’s no sort of official Mexico branding, yet the appeal is there all the same.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Mexico” doesn’t have a concrete release date yet, but a Summer 2026 launch ahead of the World Cup seems likely. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
