Nike continues expanding its experimental Mind series with the upcoming Nike Mind 001 “Pearl Pink”, arriving in Spring 2026. The mule-inspired design introduces a softer visual direction to the science-driven footwear project while maintaining the model’s unique sensory-focused construction.
Originally introduced in late 2025 through Nike’s Science Department initiative, the Mind 001 was created to explore how footwear can interact with the body’s sensory system. Instead of emphasizing traditional athletic performance, the series focuses on subtle physical feedback through tactile elements built directly into the shoe.
The “Pearl Pink” edition delivers a clean pastel aesthetic across the molded slip-on upper. The entire silhouette appears in soft pink tones, while a small metallic Swoosh at the midfoot adds a subtle contrast. Perforations across the vamp reveal glowing interior details beneath the surface, giving the minimalist design a futuristic edge.
Underneath, the Mind 001’s standout feature remains its podded outsole system. Bright orange nodes sit across the bottom of the shoe in a grid layout, designed to create gentle stimulation underfoot while walking. According to Nike, this design helps trigger sensory responses through the foot, reinforcing the neuroscience-inspired philosophy behind the Mind series.
Branding inside the footbed highlights the Nike Mind and Science Department program, emphasizing the shoe’s experimental role within Nike’s broader product lineup.
The Nike Mind 001 “Pearl Pink” will release in May 2026 through select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $95 USD.
