Kei Ninomiya is one of many Rei Kawakubo proteges, but one of far fewer to earn a line under the Comme des Garçons banner. While a staple of fashion magazines since its inception, the increasing synergy between the runway and the sidewalk means Noir Kei Ninomiya has crossed onto our frontpage, again the case as their Fall 2026 showcase took place.
In addition to category-bending apparel, the main focus for us is on the Noir Kei Ninomiya x PUMA Speedcat, a branch out from an established lineage with Reebok that’s played out over several seasons over the past few years. The label brings 3D synthetic roses to the trendy slim-sole style, creating a comprehensive translucent shroud around the shoe that still allows the Formstrip to be visible underneath. True to their name, Noir ensures that an all-black colorway is a part of what’s on display here, but more delicate cyan and rosy editions round out this three-headed preview.
The Noir Kei Ninomiya x PUMA Speedcat is likely to touch down as a part of the Fall 2026 slate. Retail pricing is currently unclear, but get a sense of what’s in store for later this year via the images throughout this piece.
