The Nike GT Cut 4 Suits Up For The WNBA 30th Anniversary

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

While CBA negotiations currently loom large over the upcoming season, there’s plenty of reason for celebration when it comes to the W as a whole. The league is in its best position in terms of both attention and revenue, propelled by massive stars like A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Paige Bueckers.

Yet it’s not only in the abstract where some champagne-popping is in order, as 2026 marks the league’s 30th year of operation. Poured out for the occasion is a new version of the Nike GT Cut 4, spinning the original red/white/blue logo of the enterprise for a retro colorway. Leaning on the split aesthetics that the 4th GT Cut model has championed throughout its run so far, a vase-like finish on the lateral sides meets pure red on the medial, finishing out with a chrome sole unit. Of course, you won’t escape this shoe without catching its narrative elements; WNBA tags on the interior unite with the OG logo on the heel, replete with the official announcement date for the W.

It’d certainly be fitting for the Nike GT Cut 4 “WNBA 30th Anniversary” to touch down exactly 30 years later (April 24th, 2026), but launch details are largely opaque at the time of this writing. Catch in-hand shots below and stay tuned for official info via our Sneaker Release Dates page.
