Michael Jordan has found himself back in the spotlight lately, and for good reason. 23XI Racing opened the 2026 Cup Series with an impressive three-race win streak, marking the first time a team has ever three-peated to begin a NASCAR Cup Series season. That success has brought Jordan out to the track and podium more frequently, putting him back in front of cameras and fans alike. And whenever MJ pops out in public, sneaker watchers are quick to take notice.
The added attention has also drawn out a few celebrities. Yesterday’s Straight Talk Wireless 500 saw a visit from hip-hop legends Fat Joe and Jadakiss, the former of course being a revered Air Jordan collector. On-foot for the occasion: Jadakiss in the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” and Fat Joe in the recent China-exclusive Air Jordan 11.
