Bad Bunny is on one of the most impressive generational runs for a musician in the 21st century. The Grammy-winning, box office movie-starring, Super Bowl-performing Puerto Rican pop megastar is white hot in every way imaginable – and he just celebrated his 32nd birthday. adidas is certainly pleased to have him on their side, recently leveling up the partnership with the adidas Badbo 1.0. From there, it’s only natural that the collaboration begins branching into apparel.
Initially previewed in February as part of Bad Bunny’s adidas Badbo 1.0 rollout, the upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas Originals collection delivers an elevated assortment of essentials like sweats and tees, leaning into boxy silhouettes in line with current trends. It’s a decidedly tame direction for someone of Bad Bunny’s eclectic taste, landing closer to what we’ve seen from Jerry Lorenzo’s extraordinarily popular Essentials line. Styled with the apparel is the adidas Badbo 1.0 “Rise,” an upcoming black and white colorway expected to release sometime over the coming months.
No release date for the Bad Bunny x adidas Originals apparel collection has been announced yet, but we’re expecting an update in the near future. Scroll through detailed images of the collection below in the meantime.
