Color often stole the show from Nike’s archives, particularly throughout the brand’s adventuring-focused 1990s heyday. We see this playful ideology rear its head once again on this Jordan Spizike Low “Neo Turquoise.” A full-color scheme takes prominence here, while preserving the classic Jordan hybrid silhouette.
Neo turquoise suede covers a majority of the upper and immediately becomes the centerpiece. Elephant print overlays are used to cover the toe and heel area, connecting the sneakers to archival Air Jordan motifs. Black mesh inserts run throughout the midfoot area while eyestays help compartmentalize the color. Bright green and orange accents are used subtly throughout the smaller design elements, landing on the lace system, interior sockliner, and tongue print.
Beyond the color story, the structure stays consistent with what defines the Spizike line. The low-cut silhouette pulls together elements from multiple Air Jordan models, continuing the mash-up concept that has always shaped the design. A visible Air unit in the heel supports the midsole, giving the pair the same cushioning setup longtime Spizike fans expect.
There’s no official ACG label here, yet the outdoor influence feels obvious. Earthy, nature-inspired colorways are popping up throughout Nike’s archives as of late and this sneaker quietly pays homage to that movement.
