Few sneakers carry the cultural weight of the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon”, and the recent re-release — and total sell-out — of the icon on March 5th proved that once again. Nike is continuing its celebration of the iconic design in an unexpected way as the sportswear giant has teamed up with LEGO to create a brick-built toy set modeled after the legendary sneaker.
Originally designed by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 introduced a radical layered upper inspired by human anatomy and debuted the now-famous neon green accents that quickly became synonymous with the silhouette. Over the decades, the “Neon” colorway has evolved into one of the most revered Air Max releases ever, with each return drawing massive attention from collectors and casual fans alike.
The latest chapter of that story arrived in 2025 when Nike reintroduced the Air Max 95 “Neon” in limited quantities before bringing the beloved design back to a wider global audience to kick off the Air Max month festivities. Now, the celebration continues through a new LEGO set that recreates the sneaker in brick form, allowing fans to build their own miniature version of the classic runner.
The collaboration isn’t the first time Nike and LEGO have explored sneaker culture together. Previously, the two brands released a LEGO set inspired by the Nike Dunk, bridging the worlds of sport, streetwear, and collectible toys. There are also wearable versions of this partnership, although the toy version seems to have drawn much larger interest.
With the Air Max 95 “Neon” now immortalized in LEGO form, one of Nike’s most influential designs continues to find new ways to connect with fans across generations. A release is currently expected on March 28th in Asia; a U.S. release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
