The rise of a new footwear giant in Anta has made China an increasingly competitive market, particularly when it comes to basketball. But Nike’s roots in the country run deep. Nike Basketball has sponsored the Chinese High School Basketball League since its founding in 2003, which now features hundreds of teams across dozens of provinces. And much like the EYBL here in the States, today’s participants are no strangers to getting high-octane Nike Basketball PEs.
Here we have detailed shots of some options made for the 2025–2026 season, including standout takes on the Nike GT Future, Sabrina 3, and GT Cut 4. The common thread tying the trio together is an astronomical, galactic theme, which looks especially fitting on the Nike GT Future given the model’s ties to the Foamposite era (see the GT Future “Galaxy”). The Nike Sabrina 3 approaches the concept with color in lieu of an all-over galaxy print, appearing with multiple shades of pink and purple atop a clean black midsole. The GT Cut 4 is the most distinct of the bunch, pairing a red interior with orange tones worked into its printed galaxy pattern.
These CHBL sneakers aren’t expected to release, although Nike does have a history of making select CHBL PEs available to the public. We’ll circle back with more info if any new developments arise.
