Nike is rejuvenating the Air Force 1 Low with a number of 2000s-inspired patent leather styles for Spring/Summer 2026, breathing new life into its best-selling model by harkening back to one of its most memorable eras. We now have another patent leather look to report, identical in materials but quite different from its peers in terms of overall aesthetic.
While the other patent leather Forces feel right at home in the airbrushed tee with cargo shorts era, this one leans more classy and dressed-up. The quintessential “Triple Black” AF1, often associated with hustlers and petty thieves, is here given a patent leather texture swap that suddenly makes it feel far more polished. Given the enduring popularity of all-black footwear – and the increasingly common practice of wearing sneakers to formal events – we could see these moving rather quickly.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Patent” is due out Summer 2026 via Nike and retailers, priced at $125. See official images below if you’re considering copping.
