Jordan Brand’s “Craft” subhead, though never officially announced as a sibling to the “Pinnacle” or “Bin” series, no doubt carried at least some of that energy into the early/mid-decade. Though likely most remembered for pairs like the Jordan 3 Craft “Ivory” or Jordan 4 Craft “Medium Olive,” the series allowed plenty of experimentation on a material level with a variety of silhouettes, with easily its most prolific coming on GR editions of the Air Jordan 1.
Our front page has been rather devoid of Craft releases as of late, so that fact makes the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Pecan” a fitting kick-off point for that to reverse course. Sectioned overlays, a tacit hallmark of the program, appears anew with extended edges on the “Wings” panels and a split toe. Beoynd those finer touches, the mission for this colroway is clear; plush suede composition and a refined all-brown palette.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 Mid Craft “Pecan” hitting Nike.com and partnering retailers in the coming weeks.
