Jordan Brand continues celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6 with a steady mix of retros, collaborations, and brand-new designs. Alongside returning favorites like the “White Infrared” and collabs such as the upcoming project with Awake NY, the brand is also introducing fresh concepts that push the silhouette in new directions.
One of the newest additions to that lineup is the Air Jordan 6 “Xuanwu.” The theme first appeared on the Air Jordan 1 High before later returning on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, creating a small series centered around a refined, luxury-inspired aesthetic. Now, the concept expands to the AJ6 while keeping the same elevated design language.
The Air Jordan 6 “Xuan Wu” features a black leather upper that highlights raw-cut edges and subtle burnished details across the panels. These finishes give the shoe a more premium and handcrafted feel. Textured sidewalls draw inspiration from formalwear materials, adding another layer of sophistication to the design. Gold accents appear on the Jumpman lace shroud, lace lock, and insoles, providing a polished contrast against the darker base.
Air Jordan 6 “Xuan Wu” Release Date
The Air Jordan 6 “Xuan Wu” is expected to release in Summer 2026 as a China-exclusive. That approach would follow the distribution pattern of the earlier Air Jordan 1 versions tied to the same theme.
