The adidas Hyperboost Edge Is Almost Here

adidas is ready to launch its latest super trainer, and notably, its first without a carbon fiber plate. The adidas Hyperboost Edge promises maximum cushioning and high energy return in a lightweight package weighing just 255 grams, set to debut March 17th via adidas and select retailers.

Three key technologies make the Hyperboost Edge possible. First is a new Hyperboost Pro foam midsole, a high-performance material designed to provide maximum yet versatile cushioning optimized for every type of run, whether that’s daily training or high mileage sessions. Up top, the shoe features a PRIMEWEAVE upper, a super-soft, ultra-light woven construction that delivers reliable lockdown without adding unnecessary weight. Underfoot, a newly designed full-length LIGHTTRAXION outsole provides strong traction from heel to toe, further reinforcing the shoe’s all-around versatility. The shoe’s 255-gram weight is impressive, though it’s still noticeably heavier than adidas’ premier marathon racer, the Adizero Adios Pro 4, which comes in at around 200 grams in the same size.
