A Jordan hybrid we’ve become accustomed to seeing from the early 2010s is returning. One of Jordan Brand’s Spike Lee–inspired silhouettes is getting another lease on life as the Jordan Son of Mars “Cement Grey/Fire Red” is dropping Summer 2026. When this model first launched back in 2013, it merged elements from several of MJ’s retros while tipping its hat to Lee’s Mars Blackmon character.
Decked out in Cement Grey, Black, Fire Red, and White, this reboot is bound to look right at home amongst the rest of the Jordan collection. Smooth Cement Grey leather dominates the upper while black overlays cover the midfoot and mudguard. Elephant print detail is featured on the heel and bottom half of the mudguard, echoing a similar texture we first saw on the Air Jordan 3.
Fire Red accents inject energy throughout the design. The bold tone appears on the lace eyelets, interior lining, heel branding, and portions of the outsole. Small red speckling on the midsole detail adds another visual layer, helping balance the neutral grey and black palette.
Branding elements continue the model’s signature theme. The tongue features a Jumpman logo, while the lace area includes a Mars Blackmon face badge on one shoe and a circular emblem on the other. Metallic lace dubraes reading “Son Of” and “Mars” reinforce the silhouette’s identity.
Below, a black midsole houses a visible Air unit in the heel for cushioning, paired with a red, white, and black rubber outsole that uses classic herringbone traction.
