Nike and Beats by Dre are officially joining forces for the first time, delivering a new tech-meets-sportswear release built around performance and style. The collaboration introduces a special-edition Powerbeats Pro 2, marking a fresh chapter in Nike’s long-standing connection with Apple.
The drop taps into that shared history, dating back to the early Nike x Apple era, but brings it into a more modern space. This time, the focus shifts to training-ready audio, blending athletic functionality with bold design. The earbuds feature secure earhooks, built-in heart rate monitoring, active noise canceling, and sweat resistance, along with an extended battery life that can reach up to 45 hours.
Visually, the pair stands out with Nike’s signature Volt color, giving the earbuds a bright, high-energy look. The design is matched with a paint-splattered charging case, adding a lifestyle edge to the otherwise performance-driven product. The release is also backed by LeBron James, who continues his long relationship with Beats and helps position the earbuds as an everyday essential for athletes and active users alike.
The Nike x Powerbeats Pro 2 will release first through an early-access draw on March 17th via the SNKRS app. A wider launch is set for March 20th through Nike, Apple, and select retail channels. Pricing is expected to land around $250, with a possible premium tied to the collaboration.
