Stormy “Thunder Blue” Casts Onto The Viral Nike Mind 002 Sneaker

The slow-burn rollout strategy, frustrating as it might be for eager sneaker buyers, has long proven effective in building hype, and such has been the case for Nike’s neuroscience-backed Mind franchise. After limited drops that sparked big viral moments earlier this year, the Nike Mind 001 and 002 are both lined up for a wider push in the months ahead, complete with new colorways and hopefully larger stock numbers.

Here we have the Nike Mind 002 in “Thunder Blue,” scheduled to release in men’s sizing during the Summer 2026 window. The Mind sneaker has thus far generated less demand than its slip-on counterpart, but it’s still proven elusive nonetheless. This pair keeps things simple, dressing the upper and midsole in a uniform Thunder Blue finish while Hyper Crimson accents pop on the spherical foam nodes underfoot.

The Nike Mind 002 “Thunder Blue” is slated to drop Summer 2026, meaning sometime between April and June. Budget for a $145 retail price if you’re set on copping.
