First Look At The Nike Air Max 95 “Comet”

For the true hardcores, a return to the “original” Air Max 95 tooling was one of the most frequent requests levied at Nike. If you’ve pined for those throwback aesthetics, you’ve truly had an embarrassment of riches over the past year, with countless spins off of “Neon,” high-level collaborations, and plenty of lower-key general releases to get your “Big Bubble” fix and then some.

With much of the energy in 2025 concentrated on bringing back the ineffable “grey gradient” editions, from “Mandarin” to “Blue Spark” to “Pink Foam,” we’ve started to get revitalizations of deeper cuts; the “Olympic” presents as a recent example. Another comes off the board with the Nike Air Max 95 “Comet,” looking back to 2010 for a sporty, flame-broiled edition. True to form, a rapid black-to-white ombre plays out on the sidewalls, with flecks of red appearing on the eyelets, Air Max branding, and within the Air units themselves.

A firm date for the Nike Air Max 95 “Comet” 2026 hasn’t come down just yet, but with retailers beginning their rollout efforts, we likely won’t be waiting long for that info. Catch on-white shots included below.
