Julian Klincewicz Reunites With Vans For The Old Skool And Style 31

Vans’ connection to skate culture isn’t just a marketing invention. Beyond their deep roster of sponsored board athletes and enduring catalog of supportive performance wear, Vans has poured our homages to every facet of the ecosystem with their collaborations; look to the collection crafted by Atiba Jefferson for proof of how they take care of the creative.

Julian Klincewicz is absolutely a part of that effort. Though he carries weighty names like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Tame Impala on his roster, his start came at the skate park, making his link-up with Vans a genuinely natural fit. With a spree of three drops in three years to start the decade, the photo/videographer is back in the mix, dusting off the Style 31, a previous favorite from those preceding sets, and the red-hot Old Skool.

The narrative behind his choices isn’t clear, but it’s a tale of two halves with this 2026 return to form. Either Old Skool carries carries expressive, color-blocked profiles, one in yellow/orange/teal, and one in teal/orange/purple. In contrast, the Style 31 issues an inky all-over presence, only interrupted by gold “The Joyous Chorus” text, one of the ties that bind the full range along with a glossy hangtag of man’s best friend.

Klincewicz’s longstanding collaborative history with Vans creates something of a full circle moment here. His last capsule in 2022 came under the “Vans Vault” sub-brand, a pinnacle imprint whose mantle OTW has essentially picked up since its retirement. The Vans x Julian Klincewicz collection drops on March 26th. Either Old Skool clocks in at $125, while the Style 31 retails for $120.
