Jordan Brand is expanding the wardrobe of women’s Air Jordan 1s rocking business-meeting level collared shirts. First appearing in the Air Jordan 1 Method of Make (which was either impressive or appalling depending on who you ask), the light blue and white striped fabric repeats on this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low SE.
Off the bat, these are far more subdued than the other. You won’t find a shirt collar extending outwards, nor will you see a pin-dot tie fixed to the tongue. Instead, the Jumpman uses the material on the toe-box, mid-panel, and tongue to create that dressed-up effect, and it’s covered by Cream II leather overlays. A dark brown adds that dress-shoe look via the Swoosh and the laces, but design team maintains a playful appearance by adding colored charms — a nod to the popular DIY accessory.
The design direction of this shirt-inspired Pinstripes Pack is a bit vague, but nonetheless it’s good to see the brand have a little fun with the most storied sneaker in history. Find these on Nike.com channels globally soon; we’ll update our Jordan Release Dates page when we learn of availability.
