Off-White Continues Legacy Of Reinvention With “10×10” Series

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

The world of sneakers remains focused on the VAA Air Jordan 1, and rightly so; it’s the first new step in what was a defining collaboration between Nike, Inc. and Virgil Abloh since the designer’s passing. In the rollout for that capsule, representatives of the Virgil Abloh Archive have drawn a firm line between themselves and Off-White, with the Abloh founded label now having changed hands multiple times since 2021.

Nonetheless, the history of the boundary breaker with the brand can’t be erased by any acquisition, and Off-White is set to take its legacy’s principles and push forward the “10×10” series. Obviously, Abloh’s iconic Nike collection isn’t far out of mind with a title like that, yet the 10×10 enlists a set of culture-makers, designers, and otherwise iconoclasts to take over far-ranging categories under the imprint. Those pairings are as follows:

  • Renell Medrano – Eyewear
  • A$AP Nast – Objects
  • Yuta Hosokawa – Hoodies
  • Guillermo Andrade – Denim
  • Bafic – Fineprint
  • Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi) – Sneakers
  • Stephane Ashpool – Varsity
  • Ava Nirui – T Shirts
  • Veneda Carter – Womenswear
  • Raul Lopez – Bags

The series begins in earnest in May 2026, with a series of global activations coinciding with public product reveals stretching through April 2027. Off-White has already put out behind-the-scenes studio shots depicting the above creatives at work; peruse those just ahead.
