The Nike Total 90 Shox Magia Tests Out A New Suede Build

All of a sudden, Nike has competition in the hybrid space. To be entirely fair, the Swoosh has never been the only one willing to smash some of their archive designs together to create something new. However, kicks like the ASICS GEL-NYC or the New Balance 1906R showcase how other players have found success in these sorts of sandbox designs.

Always willing to push the envelope, the Swoosh has demonstrated their particular penchant for these mashups with the Nike Total 90 Shox Magia, combining the cresting soccer aesthetics with the renewed validity of its Shox line. First brought to the market with a Maha Amsterdam collaboration, the silhouette’s general release era is upon us, and with it, some aesthetic experimentation. Drifting away from the pitch performance and running heritage associated with its composite parts, the chimera is now testing out suede uppers, painted with comprehensive “Neutral Olive” and “Black” colorways to befit this lifestyle-appropriate tinkering.

The Nike Total 90 Shox Magia in these two suede colorways should be hitting Nike.com and/or SNKRS in the next few weeks, hovering around a $165 retail price.
