The Nike Total 90 III Dons A Greyscale Gradient

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Have you heard that the World Cup is only a few months away? Even if you aren’t personally counting down the days until the 2026 quadrennial, any look at sports, fashion, or culture demonstrates how the biggest brands are emptying the clip from a marketing standpoint.

In whetting palettes throughout 2025, Nike looked to the Total 90 III, one of their more beloved football designs and a shoe that’s taken rather well to a more lifestyle-focused lean.  Part of what made the Total 90 such an attention-grabber in the first place was its asymmetric split upper and the corresponding mismatch colorblocking that typically came along with it. In that regard, this pair is only an extension, highlighting the central lace unit with that white-to-grey-to-black. Given that the Air Force 1 “Scarface” came back to the newswire only a few months ago, that’s a reference point we easily call up as this shoe finishes out with red bradning hits.

Expect the Nike Total 90 III SP in this black/white/red to hit Nike.com in the coming weeks. Catch official images below.
