One of the most hotly anticipated new adidas models of 2026 is almost here. First unveiled last summer, the adidas Megaride AG is finally set to enter the brand’s mainline canon in a “Silver Metallic” colorway for April 2026. The arrival of official images brings us one step closer to launch.
This “Silver Metallic” look was the model’s first to enter the public consciousness, unveiled by @arab_lincoln last June. A two-style pack by Willy Chavarria technically marked the model’s debut earlier this year, but this first inline release reads as a more proper introduction, likely opening the floodgates for additional colorways throughout 2026.
For the uninitiated, Megaride technology emerged in the 2000s as a not-so-subtle response to Nike Shox, touting similar responsive cushioning and fitting squarely within that futuristic, turn-of-the-century design language. The Megaride AG reimagines that tech in a chunky new silhouette, joining the Megaride Predator, Megaride F50, and Megaride S2 as part of a broader category revival. This “Silver Metallic” colorway lets the model speak for itself, with the only contrast coming via off-white hits on the branding and the rubber splice that joins the upper and Megaride tooling.
A concrete release date for the adidas Megaride AG “Silver Metallic” has not been announced as of this writing, but an April 2026 launch is expected. See official images below and stay tuned for updates.
