Tyler The Creator And His Converse 1908 Jogger Race Into Summer 2026

Tyler, The Creator went back to back in music with his CHROMAKOPIA into DON’T TAP THE GLASS era, swapping from moody, conceptual fare to summer jams with ease and redoubling his overall artistic bona fides once again. Could he be poised for the same when it comes to footwear?

The inaugural choice for Converse’s 1908 “residency” series, the multi-hyphenate excited our frontpage and the landscape in general across his three silhouettes so far, the slim-soled jogger, the chunky Naut-1, and most notably, the Bronco Boot, managing to become a real secondary market commodity in its late 2025 launch.

We’ll likely have to wait until Fall/Winter to see that hardened style come back to the fore, but Tyler is circling back with the Jogger, letting loose the third overall set for the throwback-inspired silhouette. Eccentric, expressive palettes have become part and parcel of the Tyler x Converse relationship, and trust that this Spring/Summer capsule speaks to that: a lime green and brown adds off-kilter blue interplay and cream trim, while the most summer-forward wears soft yellow and baby blue before grounding with brown outsoles and laces. The other half capitalizes on more traditional leanings, wearing a restrained light blue/grey before closing with a navy/gum proposition.
