A’ja Wilson Debuts Nike A’Two “Triple Black”

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

The opening salvo for A’ja Wilson’s signature line was expectedly explosive, paying off the “Of Course I Have A Shoe” rollout effort with a widely-acclaimed run for the A’One. Now becoming part of the fabric in Nike’s signature tapestry, A’ja Wilson continues to drop seeds of the follow-up, the case as she reveals the Nike A’Two in “Triple Black.”

Letting the public’s first look at her impending silhouette come with a rosy pink edition was only right, given the importance of pearls in all her designs so far and the A’One’s frequent visitations of airy tones. However, the “Triple Black” at hand might just be the truly fitting choice for what the silhouette brings to the table, taking on a far meaner, chunkier build that pages back to the ’90s compositionally. In these on-court teaser shots, there’s still visual intrigue despite the murdered-out arrangement, as A’ja’s logo appears with a glossy finish on the tongue, the mesh foundation pops with off-color crosses, and the molded sidewalls offer some texture to finish.

The Nike A’Two in “Triple Black” should be one of the first options for fans to test out Wilson’s latest once it hits shelves. At the time of this writing, there’s no concrete info regarding this particular colorway, but we’ll start seeing A’Two releases at the start of May. For now, check out said training photos included below.
