After years of rumors, cancellations, confirmations, more cancellations, and more confirmations, the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” is expected to launch this May, and we finally have a first look.
The “Bloodline” is a short-lived concept series that began at the heard of the lock-down era; it’s an updated take on the Black/Red colorway without encroaching on any of the originals from the backbone of the legacy. It’s hard to screw up a black-and-red combination on any Air Jordan, and the upcoming Bloodline Jordan 12s make that case more evident.
Not quite official Nike images, but these photos from Jordan apparel photoshoots reveal the sneakers for the first time on-foot. It’s got an all-black build in leather, with metallic red accenting the hardware on the eyelets and mid-foot plates on both medial and lateral sides. While we can’t see the bottoms or the heel, we suspect more red detailing.
While the images are sparse, it’s enough for us to confirm that these will be hugely popular when they drop on May 23rd for $203, so stay tuned for further updates as we near the launch in mid-Summer. More to come on our Jordan Release Dates page.
