The Kobe line has never been in a more prolific place, now supporting over half a dozen silhouettes slated for 2026 releases: the 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 11 uphold his signature line while the Dunk and Air Force 1 flesh out the lifestyle end. Mining Bryant’s on-court career for his most lasting moments and achievements has borne out some of the more memorable product in recent times, but the Nike Kobe 9 EM in particular showcases how clean colorways can be a successful script in and of themselves.
Somewhere in between sits the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Draft Day,” simultaneously revealed to be part of a sprawling set of releases queued up for this June. Reportedly releasing on the 20th anniversary of Bryant’s literal “Draft Day,” this series will pour out dedicated colorways to every team from the start of the draft through the Mamba’s #13 slot.
First revealed is the Raptors’ pair, coated in “White/Glacier Blue/Wild Berry” in an homage to the team who opted for Marcus Camby over the eventual Hall of Famer. In what’s expected to be a connecting touch across the full capsule, a #2 stamp on the insoles confirms that story. Overall, this is an expansion of previous pairs released under this moniker, typically dedicated to the Hornets as the team that actually called Bean’s name on that fateful night.
The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “White/Glacier Blue” and the “Draft Day” set as a whole is expected to hit the shelves on June 26th, 2026. We’ll keep this page updated as additional colorways come to light.
