Greg Betty’s Vans portfolio has caught fire. While he’s since moved on to Jordan Brand, many of the sneakers from his Vans tenure are just now hitting shelves and clearly striking a chord, boosted by his active IG presence where he breaks down the inspiration behind each project. The “Pearlized” series stands as his most recognizable output, now set to continue with a “Rust Bronze” Old Skool arriving April 2026.
The “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” motto applies here. Pearl and stone detailing appears in familiar fashion across the toe box, tongue, jazz stripe, and heel, set against a Rust Bronze canvas and suede base. White laces and a matching sock liner keep things balanced, while pre-distressed sidewalls return underfoot.
“Pearlized” Old Skools haven’t been easy to secure at retail, and there’s little reason to expect anything different this time around. Expect an April 2026 release for $130 via Vans and select retailers.
