With their inline momentum as of late, it’s easy to forget that Vans’ collaborative arm has had equal inertia. Mattias Gollin, purveyor of hand-crafted, bejeweled footwear, joined that shared history in 2024 by adding his trademark luxurious aesthetic to the Vans Slip-On, before circling back in ’25 with two similarly clad versions of the Vans Authentic.
Just as the California company spotlights the Authentic of their own accord in a sprawling Spring campaign, the silhouette is back in focus as the Italian multi-hyphenate brings his talents to the table anew. Now pulling out “Easter Pink,” Gollin uses pale pearls to create a grid atop the tie-up model, with deeper toned gems interspersed between to replicate that classic Vans aesthetic. It’s a style he’s been teasing for months on his socials in typically mysterious fashion, now primed to hit the market in earnest (if you’re lucky enough to hit on a pair).
Though a retail price hasn’t been announced, don’t expect this latest Mattis Gollin Vans Authentic in “Easter Pink” to come cheap; the previous black and week clocked in at $750. You’ll get a chance to vie for what’s assuredly a very limited release via mattiasgollin.com on Easter Sunday (April 5th) at 3PM CEST.
