The New Balance 1906F Cannonballs Into The “Deep End”

The New Balance 1906 remains the brand’s most versatile proposition, bringing new offshoots on a consistent basis to fill out a deep register alongside the original 1906R. The new hotness atop that foundation is the New Balance 1906F, replacing the typical depth of the retro runner with a new sew upper and jagged thinned overlays.

After making its entrance to our frontpage with a fiery ombre edition, we’re now introduced to a 1906F in “Bluebird” and “Deep End,” a pretty straightforward inversion of the hotter tones pictured there. Taken from light blue to a darker counterpart at the toe, vivid aquamarine fills out the spaces between, from the outsole traction to the outline surrounding the “N-lock” branding. Hits of jet black round out to allow this shoe to still maintain some grounded tonality.
