Time really does fly in the sneaker industry. It feels like just yesterday when we got our first look at the Sabrina 3, the latest in Ionescu’s widely celebrated and adopted signature line. It’s nearing the one-year anniversary of that event, so sooner than later, we’ll be waving goodbye to #3 and hello to #4.
Even if we’re closer to the beginning than the end, the Nike Sabrina 3 still has something to say for itself, with sensible colorways and the odd narrative edition. In a third category sits the Sabrina 3 “Mint Chocolate Chip,” running wild with a stealthy base and vivid minty accents, though the most expressive touch comes with a zebra-like marbling in the platform underfoot. The fact that only Grade School sizing has emerged to that point emboldens our theory when it comes to the nickname, as typically the wildest editions in any Nike athlete’s line come exclusive to kids.
Whether this shoe will be accompanied by adult pairs remains to be seen. For now, expect the Nike Sabrina 3 “Mint Chocolate Chip” to hit Nike.com on May 1st, retailing for $102 once landed.
