With colorways like the “Pink Heat,” the New Balance 2010 is beginning to carve out its own character, still keeping the 99x inspiration it rode in on at its core, but nonetheless delving into far more futuristic, expressive territory than we associated with the “Made in” series.
Save for that patent pink and black, there’s a real argument that the New Balance 2010 featured here is its most experimental yet. That’s on a number of levels, first with a gradient midsole that offers both a traditional platform at the forefoot and a black contrast sole from the rear view. Reflective metallic overlays is the next point of intrigue, carving out a real robotic profile when paired with darker underlays. Finally, the actual composition of the ABZORB silhouette changes shape, as carved-out ribs across the overlays create visual depth in a way that some general releases haven’t to this point.
The New Balance 2010 in this chrome-esque colorway should be hitting shelves as a part of the Summer/Fall 2026 slate, potentially with a premium on its usual $155 retail price. For now, peruse official images below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for more info as it surfaces.
