Home On The Range: The Nike Air Force 1 Tends To Two “Cow Print” Looks

As we’ve surely mentioned countless times before, the reduction in the overall share that the Air Force 1, Dunk, and Air Jordan 1 occupy in Beaverton’s oeuvre is never too far out of mind when thinking of any of those silhouettes. It’s been interesting to track how the Nike Air Force 1 has approached that; surely, the amount of cut-and-dry general release editions, leaning on monochromatic or two-tone classic blocking, has declined relative to truly inventive or experimental fare.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low, now embracing two contrasting “Cow Print” variations, speaks to that. Though beginning with conventional foundations built of black and brown leather, the Uptown quickly swaps to the trendy fare previously explored by the Goadome or the Field General, the latter in an unabashed Samba-killer style. The hoops shoe almost assuredly doesn’t have the same competitive edge to it, but should offer those without a representative from the animalistic wave in their wardrobe a way in without having to step far outside of the AF1’s always-on style icon status.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low in these two “Cow Print” colorways should be hitting shelves soon in women’s sizing, clocking in at $125 a piece.
