The Shake James x adidas Samba “414 Day” is bringing Milwaukee energy back to the adidas catalog just in time for the city’s annual 414 Day celebration. adidas once again linked with Eric “Shake” James, a key figure in Milwaukee’s sneaker community, for a special release that feels rooted in the city while still easy to wear beyond the event itself.
Milwaukee inspiration drives the design from top to bottom. The upper pulls from a map of the city and nearby neighborhoods, while the cream-colored base references Milwaukee’s longtime “Cream City” nickname. Black Three Stripes, red contrast stitching, and a gum sole keep the adidas Samba “414 Day” grounded in classic style, while details like the tongue’s viewfinder graphic and the red heel pull tab give the pair a more personal identity.
Summerfest also plays a major role in the project, turning this into more than just another local collaboration. The release is a three-way effort between SNEEX, adidas, and Summerfest, with the festival’s smiley face logos worked into the design. Even better, buying the sneaker also includes complimentary access to Summerfest 2026, which is expected to be a one-day pass for the massive music event held across three weekends in Milwaukee.
