For reasons independent of adidas flat-out saying so, it’s clear that Adistar footwear is a key area of focus for the Three Stripes in 2026. Pharrell’s adidas Adistar Jellyfish and the XLG 2.0 hold down the chunky lane, while older models like the resurgent Control 5 find new life for daily lifestyle wear years after their introduction. The Adistar MLD is the German brand’s latest, now trotting out a number of essential colorways for the summer months.

The simplest of the three colorways is also the most intriguing from a materials standpoint, the Adistar MLD taking up a Cloud White colorway featuring reptilian leather across the upper. The other two options come in Earth Strata and Grey Three respectively, each settling into lifestyle form with hairy suede exteriors.
