The Tom Sachs and Nike partnership is back in full effect. After what was billed as an indefinite hiatus following allegations of workplace malpractice, the New York multi-hyphenate catapulted back to the forefront of hype sneaker culture in 2025, with his Mars Yard series again becoming one of the buzziest topics across the landscape in its 3.0 variation.
Yet in truth, it wasn’t the latest installment of his utilitarian silhouette that heralded his return. The Nike General Purpose Shoe, a more accessible branch off his design tree as its title might suggest, was the first we caught wind of back in February 2025, eventually restocking via the Tom Sachs site in November.
All the looks for the model have trended towards simplistic fare, but the “Light Cream” edition at hand, dropping once again on Sachs channels, was both a debut choice and one of its most essential. Neutral off-whites combine with a gum sole for a workman-like composition before more animated energy comes in with royal blue anchoring.
The Tom Sachs / NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe is available now via store.tomsachs.com. A $110 MSRP is confirmed. Check the “Where To Buy” links below to grab yours.
