First Look At The FC Barcelona x Kobe x Nike Dunk Low Protro

Through his enduring catalog, Kobe Bryant has taken to several arenas previously unexplored in his footwear catalog. From earnest diamond-ready performance in the “Dodgers” gear series to off-court explorations on the Air Force 1 and Dunk, the Sheath logo continues to make unexpected appearances on all manner of Swoosh products.

An area that doesn’t need any sort of narrative justification comes in the “beautiful game.” Owing to his Italian upbringing, Bryant’s first love was soccer, propelling him to represent that love with pairs like the Kobe 8 “Mambacurial.” Later in his life, relationships with the likes of Lionel Messi would split his allegiance between his “hometown” AC Milan and Barcelona. That relationship is now growing via another FC Barcelona x Kobe link-up, following a kit and Kobe 4 from 2025.

We’re now getting our first look at the Nike Dunk Low Protro included in the capsule, set to accompany yet-to-be-revealed looks for the Nike Kobe 3 Low. Though retail imagery is sparse at the time of this writing, initial imagery confirms a sleek black body with patent leather overlays, furnished with alt-kit purple in the spaces between. Even if not depicted here, the usual slate of co-branding between club logos and Kobe iconography is likely on tap.
