The New Balance 740 is coming off its biggest moment to date thanks to an impressive “Mushroom” collab from the masters of minimalism at JJJJound, a potential catalyst for greater demand across the board. As for the general release wire, this latest pair stands out in the more traditional sense, sporting an eccentric combination of pea green and orange.
Official images show green coloring on the interior, tongue, midsole, and base underlays, followed by black netting and a dark grey hue on some of the leather quarter overlays. The reflective “N” logos introduce pops of rust orange to the palette, with more orange hits landing on the forefoot overlays. Regular readers might recall CNCPTS’ “Brut” and “Saignée” pack from well over a year ago, a rather underrated collaboration (IMO) that helped get the ball rolling for the 740’s lifestyle era.
The New Balance 740 “Green/Orange” releases Fall 2026 via New Balance for $120. See official images below if these might compete for a spot in your rotation.
