The Air Jordan 6 “Oreo” back in the mix means we’re partying like it’s 2010, joined at the top of the pile this week by the Jordan 13 “Wings,” a stealthy edition with wear-away layers that we previewed just a few days ago. While it’s limited in its regional scope, a new Jalen Brunson Kobe release is in serious contention as well, exclusively dropping at NYC retailers and sure to capture the highly coveted aspect of the King of New York’s previous Mamba drops.
Sprinkled throughout the days between, we’ve got new colorways for the Nike Moon Shoe, Angel Reese’s official Barbie collab inspiring her signature shoe, another Willy Chavarria adidas Megaride, the wide launch of the JJJJound New Balance 740, the somewhat viral hairy orange Air Force 1, and the end of Dylan Harper’s reign on the Nike GT Cut 1.

August 3rd focuses on ATL Barbie’s doll dreams finally coming true; the Reebok Barbie Angel Reese 1 makes good on the footwear half of her Mattel collab.
August 4th circles back to the Knicks championship euphoria, as Jalen Brunson’s Nike Kobe 5 “NY v. NY” drops exclusively at NYC retailers. Interestingly, the Kobe Air Force 1 “Rucker Park” is also dropping via retailers the same day. For wider audiences, the Swoosh offers up the Nike Blazy, a laid-back take on the skate classic.
August 5th has two new looks for Beaverton’s “it shoe,” as the Nike Moon Shoe delivers two colorful editions. In a similar vein, the female-focused Nike Air Rift 2 drops off its own duo (“Kenya” and “Summit White“), while the women’s game is in the crosshairs via a PE for Ms. Buckets: the Paige Bueckers GT Cut 4. The Nike Book 2 “Just Don” sees a wide release as well. Shifting to Boston, the New Balance “Night Lights” pack unites several everyday silhouettes in dusky palettes, and the DTLR New Balance 2010 brings 3M and carbon fiber to the lifestyle model. We finish with a range of Foot Locker exclusives; two “Safari” takes for the Air Force 1, an “Elephant” Jordan 1 Mid and Air Max 90, and a snakeskin Swoosh Air Force 1 in pink
August 6th has the Air Jordan 13 “Wings” in store, a shoe with some tricks up its sleeves via wear-away layers that reveal colorful murals underneath its siding. The JJJJound New Balance 740, a breakout look for the price-conscious lifestyle shoe, sees a wide release via NB.com. The Dylan Harper GT Cut 1 series with Titan22 closes with a bang, dropping its black and white colorways simultaneously. Following a CDG revival, the Air Max Dolce “Light Magenta” brings another chapter in the loafer-like sneaker’s journey. Coincidentally, NB’s own formalized hybrid offers a black and purple edition via the New Balance 1890A “Dark Night.”
August 7th sees the Willy Chavarria adidas Megaride AG series march on with a monochromatic bubblegum pair. Then the Swoosh makes good on a SNKRS-previewed colorway, as the hairy Air Force 1 Low “Horse of a Different Color” hits SNKRS. The Nike Air DT Max ’96 Low “White” looks ahead to football season with a pristine makeover for Sanders’ converted signature. The Sabrina 4 “Lightwork” follows in the White Label’s footsteps with shimmering overtones, and the LeBron 23 “Hardwood Classic” marks the King’s return to Cleveland (err… in footwear only, sadly).
August 8th is when you’ll get your chance at the Air Jordan 6 “Oreo,” the first re-release for the 2010 cult classic. Looking back at the same era is the Nike KD 6 “Meteorology,” playing off of the Weatherman motif in a black/red palette. Finally, the kids get in on the action via the Air Jordan 3 “Chalk,” dropping in GS, PS, and TD sizing.
