If we’re calling balls and strikes, Aime Leon Dore’s Teddy Santis set a real standard in terms of the heights that a New Balance collaborator could reach. With his imprint’s work on the New Balance 550 helping establish the Boston brand as a street titan anew, those efforts were repaid when he was named creative director of the seasonal Made in USA capsules and later with the RC56, the first silhouette designed alongside an outside partner. The Action Bronson x New Balance 2811 showcases how that formula has grown in 2026, now reaching its second Baklava colorway in white and blue.
We’ll leave the discussions on which collaborator is truly New Balance’s #1, but allowing new faces into the workshops and factories has now spread far beyond Mulberry St.; Ronnie Fieg and Action Bronson currently stand as the two torch-bearers in that regard. The Queens MC earned his signature shoe with the New Balance 2811, debuting in a “Mikročpske” colorway and combining a wholly novel upper with the sole unit of the New Balance 2010.
Sneaker News now presents the Action Bronson New Balance 2811 in white and blue, expected to be the second release for the shared design. Overall, this pair offers up a more restrained take on the silhouette, dedicating most of its real estate to a pristine white upper and a contrast black sole unit. Trust that Dr. Baklava’s trademark eccentricity still finds its way into the DNA of this shoe, though; curvy stripes of red embroidery at the toe and pops of light blue in the midsole take care of just that.
How the artist and brand will approach additional releases is an open question after that initial colorway received the typical red carpet treatment: an invite-only launch event, an online raffle, and, to date, no wide NB.com drop. Even if we haven’t uncovered release particulars on how the model will greet its future, at the very least we can get a picture of what that will look like. Action Bronson himself has already shared teaser shots of him wearing this pair; release info shouldn’t be too far off.
