Cow print has suddenly emerged as one of 2026’s defining “it” aesthetics, making its way onto footwear across a growing number of categories, some more surprising than others. If you’re looking to add some farm-fresh heat to your running rotation, of all places, Nike now has a performance option that should have you covered.
The Nike Vomero Plus, arguably the hottest model in the Beaverton brand’s current road-running stable, takes a trip to the pasture with a new “Cow Print” colorway featuring several on-theme touches. The concept is certainly unconventional for a performance shoe, but with cow print already gaining serious traction across loafers, boots, and other lifestyle footwear, the strategy isn’t all that difficult to understand.
While the pair takes a completely different aesthetic route from most of its GR counterparts, it actually strays very little from the model’s usual material build. The main exception comes on the Swooshes, which are rendered in Sail pony hair for added texture without sacrificing performance. Black cow print covers nearly the entire upper and tongue, Light Orewood Brown takes over the ZoomX midsole, and University Red accents appear underfoot.
The Nike Vomero Plus “Cow Print” has already begun surfacing at retailers like SNIPES and Sneaker Politics, priced at $190 in women’s sizing. The sneaker is joined by a likeminded take on the Pegasus Premium, which is also now available through select stores.
