Patta is back with another exciting collaboration with Nike, this time reimagining the iconic Air Max 90 with their renowned “Waves” design. This new release is set for Summer 2025, continuing the creative journey between Patta and Nike. It beautifully blends the Amsterdam-based brand’s unique style with one of Nike’s most beloved sneakers.
The “Waves” design first appeared on the Air Max 1 in 2021, instantly capturing the sneaker community’s attention. With wavy overlays, it added a fresh twist to a classic model. Now, Patta brings that creativity to the Air Max 90, offering a nostalgic yet modern interpretation of a sneakerhead staple.
The Patta Air Max 90 “Waves” includes two colorways. One features bold “Cyber” accents, while the other highlights a vibrant “Sapphire” tone. Both styles showcase textured wavy black mudguards inspired by the original Patta Air Max 1s and follow classic Air Max color blocking with shades of grey, black and white. Patta tongue labels confirm the collaboration, completing the look.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” is expected to release on June 23, 2025. It will be available through Patta, select Nike Sportswear retailers, and Nike.com, priced at $150 USD.

UPDATE 6/9/25: The Patta x Nike Air Max 90 “Waves” is officially set to release on June 23, 2025. Both the “Cyber” and “Sapphire” colorways will drop via Nike SNKRS and Patta. Retail is set at $150 USD each. Each pair comes with a matching tracksuit, combining classic Nike sportswear with Patta’s signature streetwear touch.
