The Nike Air Max 90 “Peony” is a muted silhouette revisiting of Tinker Hatfield’s 1990 OG.
White mesh breathes life to the open upper, providing room to overlay suede and leather. Rich red mudguard grounds the silhouette with a refreshing nod to original Air Max 90 blocking. The use of small orange-red details on the heel badge and Air unit appear purposeful rather than ornamental.
On the bottom, a black outsole keeps the look grounded and recognizable.“Peony” is more calculated, and may be a more timely release in a world where subdued statement pairs feel right at home.
